Celebrate the return of Nikki Ayers to Narooma following her success at the Paris Paralympics at the Breakwall Brewery.

Nikki and her rowing partner Jed Altschwager are the first Australian Paralympic rowers to win a gold medal! Their success in 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris followed a Gold Medal at the 2023 World Rowing Championships in Belgrade. 

Nikki, who grew up in Narooma, started her rowing training in 2017 following a serious accident while captaining the ACT Women's Brumbies 7 Team. Her rowing career has seen her compete at World and Australian Rowing Championships in 2018, 2019, 2021 Tokyo Summer Paralymics along with two gruelling George Basss Marathon surf boat events.
