Seed Saving Workshop for Beginners - Moruya Library

Learn how to save seeds like a pro at our beginner-friendly workshop.

Join Julie Davies as we celebrate the start of Spring with a practical seed saving workshop at Moruya Library.

Julie is an experienced facilitator from Bega Valley Seed Savers, a vibrant community of volunteers saving local seeds of edible plants for the past 20 years.

The workshop will help participants learn the processes needed to successfully save seed for edible plants. The workshop is for beginner seed savers and will use a combination of theory, demonstration and hands-on practical seed saving so you can learn how to:

· choose appropriate seeds for saving

· grow and harvest mature seeds

· dry and process common vegetable seeds

· store seeds appropriately.

Come along to have your seed saving questions answered and learn how you can support the Eurobodalla Seed Library.

Free event. Eventbrite bookings essential, numbers are limited.
