Writing workshops with Tracey Lee - Narooma Library

Join Tracey for the National Novel Writing month writing workshop.

Do you love to write? Get creative this National Novel Writing Month with professional author and educator Tracey Lee. With qualifications in creative writing and 40 years teaching English, Tracey has recently released the third book in her popular Lily O’Hara mystery series.

Whether you’ve been writing for years or just recently begun, Tracey is looking forward to present fun, supportive and inspiring workshop.

At the Narooma Library workshop on 13 November, Tracey will explore 'show, don’t tell’ skills to convey human emotions and will work with writers to create authentic character responses and reactions. Writers will work through the A-Z of emotions and how some of these (even the obscure ones) can come to life on the page.

At the Moruya Library workshop on 14 November, Tracey will help writers to develop authentic characters and settings by using their own sensory observations, interactions and experiences. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the importance of the interplay between character and environment.
