Classic flick at Batemans Bay Library

Join us at Batemans Bay Library for our Thursday matinee screening of an entertaining classic.

Join us for our Thursday matinee screening of a masterclass in acting from Spencer Tracy, Sidney Poitier, and Katharine Hepburn.

When Joanna Drayton, a free-thinking woman, and Doctor John Prentice become engaged, they travel to San Francisco to meet her parents. Matt Drayton and his wife Christina are wealthy liberals who must confront the latent racism the coming marriage stirs up. Also attending the Drayton’s' dinner are Prentice's parents, who vehemently disapprove of the relationship.

Enjoy the film, refreshments, and a chat afterwards. Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions, we cannot advertise the movie name. Please ask our friendly library staff for more information.

Free event. Eventbrite bookings essential, spaces are limited.
